Vintage Grocery Store Museum
The Centenary Centre houses a fascinating Vintage Grocery Store Museum containing original fixtures including old cedar counters, antique scales, vintage advertising signs as well as an amazing selection of yesteryear stock such as Arnott’s biscuit tins, Chief floor polish, tobacco tins and vintage medicinal aids.
Harold Murray, our charming resident grocer, is in attendance on the second and last Sunday of every month to entertain with his interesting stories of the old corner store of days past.
